NewA short welcome on first launch: the four steps (add, unlock, review, export), what “Balanced” means with a worked example, and what stays on your Mac. Try a sample statement from there in one click.
NewA review bar under every statement says where it stands. When a balance doesn’t add up, it names the row, shows the likely cause (a misread amount, swapped digits, or a credit read as a debit) and offers the one-step fix. ⌘Z undoes it.
New⌘G and ⇧⌘G jump to the next and previous row to review. Press Return to correct the selected row’s amount, or ⌥Return its balance.
NewHelp → What Does “Balanced” Mean?, and File → Try a Sample with a Misread Row, to practise fixing a break.
ImprovedExcel exports are compressed, so .xlsx files are several times smaller.
ImprovedEditing a figure in the grid: Return or Tab saves, Esc cancels, clicking away saves, and a figure that isn’t money is refused.
ImprovedDropping several files, or a folder of statements, reads them in the order you dragged them.
FixedIn Dark Mode, the text on green buttons was hard to read.
FixedTrying the sample statement twice added it twice.
